How to install Team Viewer 13 on Ubuntu Linux.

Team viewer is a software package for remote support, Desktop sharing, file transfer, video conferencing between computers.It is very popular and easy to use, basically to provide a technical support to client or friend remote system issue.

Team viewer can be installed on Linux, Windows, Mac, chrome OS, Android Mobiles, Windows Phone & also can be access via web browser.

It is available in both paid and free. Free version is only for personal use & paid version have all the features for commercial use.

First open your web browser and open team viewer website for download a deb package for the installation.

Here it is available for both 64 bit & 32 Bit, download .deb package according to your Ubuntu desktop Bit from Ubuntu, Debian section.

 

After download package run a following command.First open terminal by (ctrl+alt+t)Assuming that deb package is save in Downloads Directory.

$ cd Downloads/  
$ sudo dpkg -i teamviewer*

team viewer ubuntu

If any issue appears due to dependencies you run following command to resolve this issue.

$ sudo apt-get install -f

sudo apt-get install -f command resolve all the issues related to dependencies.

Congratulation Now team viewer gets install in Ubuntu system.Open team viewer from search or run following  command.

$ teamviewer

How to use Team Viewer.

Both system Host and remote system have Team viewer. Remote system operating system may be Linux, windows or MAC.

When we open Team Viewer, it gives unique ID and password for verify connection.

 

For accessing a client system, you must have partner ID.Put client/remote system team viewer ID than click on CONNECT Button. After that it will ask you to enter a password, enter partner password which is showing in partner team viewer system.Now you can control your partner system.

Note: Follow same process for Linux Mint, Kubuntu, Lubuntu & other Debian based distribution OS
