HOW TO UNINSTALL OR COMPLETELY REMOVE MYSQL FROM UBUNTU 16.04,18.04.

This is a simple way to uninstall MySQL server/client packages from Ubuntu 18.04,16.04 and it is also removes MySQL configuration files, MySQL data directory,Mysql user ID.

Use the following commands to completely uninstall MySQL from Ubuntu.

First of all, You have to stop MySQL service.
1.$ sudo service mysql stop
2.$ sudo apt-get remove --purge mysql-server mysql-client mysql-common
3.$ sudo apt-get autoremove
4.$ sudo apt-get autoclean
5.sudo apt-get remove dbconfig-mysql

This procedure will 100 % ensure the completely removal or uninstall the MySQL from the Ubuntu system.
